After fastening, they partially protect against injury in the event of a collision or sudden braking of the car. The close connection of passengers with the car's skeleton forming a safety cage with tightly fitted seat belts allows vehicle users to lose speed during a collision with the car. Thanks to this, the accelerations (delays) acting on them are smaller. Passengers are "tied" to the cabin with a 4-point seat belt.
