We can choose several cell density options in the catalyst. For mass production cars, the most popular are 400CPSi catalysts in gasoline engines and 200CPSi diesel engines, while in sports or tuned cars it is better to use a sports catalyst with a density of 100-200 CPSi to allow the best possible exhaust flow.

We offer available catalysts with ceramic and metal inserts. The basic difference between a metal and ceramic insert is the shock resistance - the ceramic catalyst can crumble when directly impacted by the catalyst can against the stone, while the metal should withstand. The second significant difference is the resistance to temperature shock - ceramics withstands temperatures up to 850oC and metal 1300oC. The last difference is price - metal is usually more expensive.
